Every April I'm filled with doubt

The gov.uk website is very annoying
Just logging on is an ordeal
They always want to text a code to my phone
Which is going over the top, I feel

Every year, I make a loss with my business
My out goings are more than what comes in
Yet, i still end up owing something to the government
Some stupid amount like £5.17

I wait til the very last minute to do it
I put it on the back burner
but when I actually come to do it
it only takes me about an hour

My incomings and out goings are very basic
all i have to do is pull a bank statement and add a couple of extras
i pop it in a spreadsheet and then it's pretty much done
i'm doing even know what i'm making such a fuss about
but even then it makes me want to scream and shout
